We are leaving in about an hour on a road trip! I've got my iPod loaded up with new music and am anxious to stop for ice cream.
We are driving to Penticton for some wine tours with old buddies.Then meeting some more friends in Kelowna for some catching up.
There is a heat wave forecast. Christy will likely be laughing at me for whining, but seriously you guys it gets so hot in the Okanagan. I'm dreading it. Because we all know I can't take the heat. I can't take it!!

Me neither. Stay cool and have fun! i hear if you throw fruit in the wine and call it sangria, it makes it easier to take the heat.... :-)
Those "feels like" numbers in the Okanagan forecast are super wimpy, my friend. You can't complain until it feel like 40 or more!!! ;) Just joking... it's probably worse for you 'cuz you're not used to it.
I am also really really looking forward to some West Coast temperatures in a couple of weeks. I hope I didn't throw out all of my sweaters in a moment of heat-induced insanity.
Hope your weekend is tonnes of fun and I can't wait to hear about the tasting of the wine!
If it makes you feel better, there was a heat wave in Vic, too. We were dealing with "feels like" temps of 33 and 34 this weekend. Ugh. It felt like I was dying! (And yes. I know it sounds wimpy to people living east of Alberta. I don't like the hot, either.)
