I know it's early but....this is how it goes

This is not unusual for me - honestly. This is usually the time of year when I make an incredibly important decision. A decision that will determine how I will remember this year in the future.....

What to be for Halloween.

Now, I'm no slouch when it comes to Halloween costumes, which is likely why I have to decide so early on what to be.
In 2007 I made Spy vs. Spy costumes. They took me forever to make, but it was worth it.

Last year, sadly was a write off - I didn't do a thing because I was sick, sick, sick. So this year I have to make up for it! So without further ado, this is what we came up with the other night:

Herb Tarlek and Jennifer Marlowe from WKRP!!

My only problem with this is that it involves minimum sewing - we can likely find everything we need in a used clothing store. If we can't find anything cheesy enough for Herb, I'll make something. I'm almost crossing my fingers that we end up rummaging through Dressew for a classic Herb Tarlek fabric.....

Awesome idea! Unexpected, yet immediately recognizable.

Are you gonna attempt the hair or buy a retro wig?

PS: you could browse websites for meditations, but I also have a disc that you can rip onto your ipod and itunes.

Hair is so key for Jennifer. Totally helmet hair!

I think we may be kindred spirits of the costume, tv and kitty world!

I went as a tube of toothpaste one year, it's still my favorite costume yet...attached a can of silly string on my head disguised as a toothpaste cap. Way too much fun.

I'm more freaked out that your favorite shows are also, M*A*S*H & Lost. If you also like Jeopardy and reality shows about hauntings...I'd have to ask if you're half Chinese and if you know who your father is!

IG - I'm thinking it might not be recognizable to everyone - but it depends on where we end up on Halloween.

Rawbean - I thought you knew everything about me at this point!

Nayway - Toothpaste?! That's genius! Reminds me of my road costume....
Hey - last night I finally saw the MASH episode where we are first introduced to Potter. It was so good.

I love Sherman T. Potter, the perfect Grandpa figure (and he likes horsies).
