Don't you think it's time I change it!? I've been living in Victoria for three years, let's accept that shall we?I'm just really stuck on what to put there. I mean seriously, what is my blog about? What do you think when you see a new post from me? "Oh good! I needed to turn my brain off for 5 minutes!" or "Oh, GOD what now?" Why do you come here?
On this note, I have another confession.
(ahem)
I still have my Vancouver phone number on my cell phone.
Yes, you read that right.
At first I rationalized it! I thought that since I knew nobody here that whenever I went back to Vancouver (which would be every single weekend in my mind) that I could call all my Vancouver friends without charge. It made sense for the first 6 months - it did.
Now I really, really have to do something about it.
My goal is to make these MAJOR (minor) changes before Christmas.

That's pretty funny. Sometimes, things get away from you, like the to-do list. I've found to-do lists from years past with the same stuff on it that I'd add to a list today.
Try not to stress about what your blog is "about". If you limit yourself to a narrow description, you might start editing out good stuff because it doesn't fit your "profile". :-)
I have some similar confessions.
I have this magnet on my fridge that one of my high school friends made years ago. It has all of our addresses, birthdays, and phone numbers. Handy, right? Well, it's prolly 7 years old so none of the addresses are right anymore. Jason pointed it out this weekend by saying - "Um, you don't live there anymore" and I replied "It's a piece of history! That's why I keep it up!"
Also my blog title is ridulous. When I started my blog in 2005, I couldn't think of something and typed that the title was "under construction". I'd come up with a title some day, right? Wrong.
Anyway, have fun making your changes!
I was just thinking about how I need a major blog-design upheaval, too. It kills me to change the pic of Robertina in the header, but let's get real. It's been there for years now-- let's move on!
Do you need to put anything in the profile section, or is that pic enough? I have no idea what I'd ever say to summarize myself and my blog in one sentence... Like CitricSugar says, maybe it's too confining in terms of your content?
In any case, good luck changing your phone #. That's too funny! :)
I'm glad I'm not the only one who has these guilty confessions! Changing my blog will be much easier than changing my phone number.
Which I still haven't done yet....
