Copping out of the Cat

Remember how I said I was going to sew a Cat in the Hat costume this year? Well, here is the first and only progress photo.

I found the black fabric, and some white fabric and I have the hat. There was even a piece already cut out for the costume! I cut out all of the black fabric, but then I started thinking about the Tickle Trunk and seeing all the stuff I could just pull out and wear - so I talked Brad into Spy vs. Spy.

I don't know, what do you guys think? Is this too crazy a costume to wear to a party where we only know the hosts?

My friend and I were totally going to use your Thing #1 and Thing #2 idea for our costumes, but I think we might not get it together. Plus, 'cuz of other stuff that's happening, I'm out of the Halloween spirit and it will be a miracle if I get any sort of costume together in time.

Anyway, I love the spy vs. spy costume, and heck, if you only know the hosts at the beginning, you'll know everyone by the end!

I also love the spy vs. spy costume and completely agree that while it makes you mysterious that will make people come up to you!

I say go for it, I bet it will be the most memorable couples-costume of the party!

Not crazy at all! Better to be over-costumed than under-costumed, too. Trust me on this one.

I know it's late, but I also vote for spy vs spy....hey didn't you dress up as a scary clown once at work??
