I get really superstitious when stuff like this is going on. I saw most of game 5, including the best home run ever! I had watched the game from the start then I had to leave to go to a meeting. I got back about 5 minutes before the homer.
So now I feel like I have to watch the games from the beginning - on the couch where I was for game 5. Although I did that the last two games and we lost....maybe if I wore the same clothes as game 5.....and ate the same lunch....it goes on and on.

My friends and I are all over ridiculous superstitions re: Blue Jays.
At the first two ALDS games, my friend Mathew ate a chicken sandwich and the Jays lost. Then he brought burritos to ALDS game 5, and ALCS game 3 and they won both games. However, he brought a burrito to yesterday's awful game and they lost, so...
I usually wear my Russell Martin jersey to games and they do better. For awhile they were always winning when I wore my straw hat, but then they lost.
We don't know what to do!
