Italy Part 5 - Best Sandwich Ever

A quick post about....sandwiches!

One night we got sandwiches from this super tiny hole in the wall place in Rome. Seriously - it was the best sandwich I've ever had.

Super simple ingredients. The bread was really fresh and grilled a little bit. The cheese is cut thick.....the Italians just KNOW how to make good food.

You and Brad were made for Italian food I think. I still remember that Prosciutto salad recipe you gave me - I always think of you when I have Proscuitto!

I was out for drinks w a friend on Friday, and he also talked about how he ate the best sandwich of his life in Italy! It was all about the fresh bread and prosciutto. I so need to go to Italy now so I can experience the best sandwich of my life!

That sandwich is bigger than your head! Isn't it crazy how simplicity and fresh ingredients go a long way.

I still laugh at someone calling you a gourmet. Hee. Maybe you are now, hey Italian food snob? :)

That sandwich is gigantic!! Too bad it's filled with things I can't (or don't) eat... I will have to find the best sandwich for me elsewhere. :(
